The ideal set for getting started in gouache painting. High-quality, lightfast colors with which beautiful gouache artworks are created.
The Basic Set consists of 10 different colors in practical 20 ml tubes. The colors have a high opacity, are highly pigmented and water-soluble.
The following colors are included in the set:
100 White, 200 Yellow, 311 Vermilion, 318 Carmine, 506 Ultramarine Blue, 566 Prussian Blue, 616 Viridian, 227 Yellow Ochre, 411 Sienna Burnt, 703 Black Intenso.
Working with gouache is incredibly fun - similar to watercolor, it can be dissolved with water and also allows color gradients. The exciting thing here, however, is the opacity and thus the possibility of different layers build on each other.
We recommend the following products when using gouache:
- Mixing palette
- Round brush from Van Gogh
- Toned Paper cold, Toned Paper warm, Satin watercolor paper
