Yes, here is something new to see! The Tombow Fudenosuke (with the soft tip) is one of the most popular brush pens on the lettering market. Now there are six new pastel colors - yay! The special thing about the colors is that they also write on black paper, opening up whole new lettering possibilities.
On white paper, the brush pens write beautifully opaque in delicate pastel shades - on black paper, the brush pens have a chalky look.
There are a total of six different colors:
01 white; 02 light yellow; 21 lavender, 58 soft pink; 73 light blue; 86 pastel green.
You should keep in mind when using them that if you use them on black paper, the colors will take some time to dry and will not become opaque until they are dry. With some black satin paper types the color does not cover (eg. the mixed media block from Frechverlag).
We recommend the Sakura Sketchbook with black paper or the black Van Gogh watercolor paper.
